| In Pineta
Gallipoli, on the Ionic sea, is found on the western shore of the Salentine peninsula, in the Gulf of Taranto.
A characteristic of the city is its clear division in two parts:
the "old city " and the "new area ". The storic center is filled with antique contructions and is located on a calcium island connected to the mainland with a walled bridge.
Around the year 1500 the great perimiter walls were built, to withstand enemy attack, adjusted in height, towards the end of the 1800’s, to reach the current panoramic road, which encircles the whole island, allowing views of the fantastic scenery.
The complex, composed of 4 three-bedroom flats is located in the town of Gallipoli, about 800 metres from the sea and 5 km from the town centre. The complex is located in a privileged position on a gentle slope surrounded by a pinewood. The first floor apartments have a wonderful view over the Gulf of Gallipoli. The building is fully enclosed and is equipped with covered parking spaces.
Guests may also make use of services offered by the nearby campsite at no extra cost: swimming pool, tennis courts, entertainment, beach shuttle bus.
The nearby campsite also has a restaurant, bar and minimarket.
