| Laghi Alimini
Otranto is called "Porta d’Oriente"(doorway to the orient), because it is the most eastern town of Italy; and it’s a town rich of history, of intrigue and natural beauty. (it was in fact a byzantine and gothic center).
In 1480 it was conquered from the Turks, who massacred the population during the Battle of Otranto,
killing 800 persons: these are in fact the blessed martyrs who are remembered every year on the 15th of august.
At about 2 km north from Otranto you can find the area which is called "Laghi Alimini" because of the two sweet water lakes next to the sea.
All this area is a protected green area with a lot of pine-trees, which colour and perfume this area, there are also a lot of cycling paths with which, you can tour around the lakes and they also reach the sea.
The apartments are situated in the countryside of the Alimini lakes at about 2km from the sea reachable also by the cycling paths next to the apartments.
The distance from the apartments to Otranto is about 6 km.
Every apartment has air conditioning and an outdoor parking place.

It is of about 70 m², with lounge and corner kitchen, 1 twin bedroom, 1 double bedroom, bathroom with shower and a garden of about 50 m² with table and chairs.
The apartment can be occupied by a maximum of 5 persons:
- 3 persons in the double bedroom: 2 persons on the double bed and 1 person on extra bed;
- 2 persons in the twin bedroom
Supplied: kitchen with 4 gas rings, air conditioning, outdoor parking space.
Pets are allowed.

- 2 persons in the lounge

Supplied: kitchen with 4 gas rings, air conditioning, television, outdoor parking space, outdoor barbecue.
Pets are allowed.
Half board: 12 euro per day adults, 8 euro per day
children.
